September! A little late…

I’m a little behind on the September updates, but better late then never. In case you needed a reminder, here were my goals for the year.

Instead of running through my whole list of goals one by one, like I’ve basically done every month, I’ll just give you a quick recap. Lets be real, we all know I don’t stretch every morning so no need to talk about it every time.

This is how I stretch. You now know why I don’t do it every morning. I’m uncoordinated and I don’t have a fantastic water view to do it in front of.

I’ve surpassed my run 3 half-marathons goal for the year and am thrilled that I at least did one thing that was on my goal list. Another thing on the list was to run a 5k and 10k and do them in around 9min mile pace. I will not be hitting this goal more than likely. I will be running a 5k and 10k in the next few months, but not at that pace. I need more time to work and focus on speed, but am happy I will at least be doing the races.

We of course can discuss again the fact that I have not taken a pilates class, or we can just skip over that completely.

For September I am focusing on a few new goals. It is the start of my travel season for work, which last year meant eating McDonalds or pizza at 9pm at night because it was the first chance I had to eat. I am trying hard to stay on the healthy track for this September. No more desserts for me, which is incredibly hard. I’m cookie obsessed. It also means less snacks, less french fries at lunch, and more salads or grilled chicken. It won’t be easy, or an over night process which I’m learning, but it is something that needs to be done. More on my “I need to get healthy now!” updates to come.

Goodbye cupcakes, you will be missed

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you all get to take time today to sit down and remember the events that happened 11 years ago, that I know everyone will never forget.
